About Mrs. Boyle...
My journey into teaching began in 1997 when I was hired as
an instructional assistant in kindergarten at Pleasant Grove
Elementary.  It was this experience that led me to pursue my BS
in Elementary Education from Spalding University.  I earned my
degree in December 2003 and began teaching a 1st/2nd grade
split class almost immediately.  Since then I've taught
4th and 2nd grades.

I was a participant in the Kentucky Reading Project through the
University of Louisville during the summer of 2005 and earned
my Master's degree from Indiana Wesleyan University in April
2008.  I am excited to have the opportunity to serve Bullitt
County as an Instructional Coach for the 2008-09 school year.

I am the youngest of 5 and was born and raised in the small
town of Glendale.  I graduated from East Hardin High School in
1985 and married my husband Patrick in 1987.
I worked for the JCPenney Co. for eight years.  I left my
position as a merchandise manager in 1994 to be a stay-at-home
mom.  We called Glendale home until 1995 when we moved
our family to Mt. Washington to be closer to Pat's job
at the Ford Truck Plant.

Pat and I have three children.
Wil and Katye are both graduates of Bullitt East and are
attending college and working.  Jonathan is an freshman at BE.

We also share our home with three furry family members.
Tucker is a shih tzu and Casper and Ollie are our cats.

Teaching is as much my hobby as my job so when not
planning lessons or other school-related activities,
I enjoy working on the computer, reading a variety of books,
writing poetry & short stories, lounging around our pool, and
doing activities with my family and friends.
